Perfumer Dominique Ropion wanted to create a fragrance that was as intensive, merry and unforgettable as that of a happy marriage. Amarige opens up with a sweet fruity mix of peach, plum, orange, mandarin, rose wood and neroli. The heart is a floral firework with intense and luscious notes of mimosa, neroli, tuberose, gardenia and acacia and a subtle hint of black currant. The warm woody base of Amarige is a perfect blend of musk, sandalwood, vanilla, amber, Tonka bean and cedar.

Amarige by Givenchy was launched in 1991.
