SkinGuard technology limits the blade's contact with skin
Contact with the skin remains light throughout shaving, thanks to the SkinGuard 'bridge', a shield placed between the cartridge's 2 main blades. It raises the blades and absorbs pressure from the hand in order to minimise the force applied by the blades on sensitive skin. It also flattens the skin's surface ahead of the blades, helping to prevent friction from skin irregularities.

The SkinGuard Sensitive razor boasts Gillette's innovative low cutting force blades. These blades are coated with an anti-friction layer and, with fine edges thinner than a surgeon's scalpel, they glide easily through tough hair and stubble with low tug and pull.
