It all started with one multi-purpose balm that quickly became world famous for its benefits. It soothes anything from chapped lips to bruises. Elizabeth Arden created the balm herself in 1930 and named it the Eight Hour Cream after a loyal client discovered its healing benefits in such a short amount of time.

What made it so effective was the combination of vaseline and beta-hydroxy combined with vitamin E. After all of these years, the brand still uses the exact same formula that Elizabeth herself created as the basis for their line. Since that very first creation they have launched an entire skincare range including moisturisers, lip balms and more.
